Fabric is ruining my life. No seriously, it really is. Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find cute fabric with ladybugs on it? Im seeing fabrics with all kinds of other cute things on it. Giraffes, monkeys, butterflies, etc, but where the heck are all the ladybugs? I found one fabric that I really love, but for what it would cost to get enough to do all of the crib bedding, I would rather just buy a set and save myself the work!
I’m even willing to just do red/black/white circles, or dots, or squares, or some other shape, so long as the color scheme is good. We can always incorporate ladybugs in the other decor, right? Well, that would be great if I could find this mystical, magical, elusive fabric in the proper color scheme.
Seriously, if I find one more super cute ladybug fabric in pink, or in green, I just might scream! You can do the fabric in these fancy, modern styles, but you cant do it red or black? ?*sigh*
You’re probably wondering why the fabric is so important, why can’t I just work on something else in the meantime? Well, until fabric is picked, I can’t:
- Pick the paint colors for her mini mural
- Pick out any other decor items
- Do the crocheting that I want to do
- Actually paint the mini mural
All of which will take time. I only have 10 weeks left before her due date. And in the mean time, we still have to:
- Do our childbirth classes
- Incessantly clean things that don’t need to be cleaned
- Buy whatever baby items are not given at the shower
- Arrange the baby’s room
- Get mentally prepared
- Buy or make cloth diapers
- Stress out about labor
All of which make me realize that I don’t have as much to do as I though I did, lol. Im really being unnecessarily nit-picky about getting everything done,
which is really nothing. *sigh* Carry on people. Im so anxious about this baby getting here I’m losing my mind.
