OH! Hi, I didn’t see you standing there. I don’t think we’ve met. I guess Christina hasnt had time to introduce us, since we just her this past Saturday. We were lurking around before she noticed us. You should have been there to see her reaction when she discovered us in hiding. Who are we? Oh, sorry, we got carried away, and forgot to tell you our names!
Excuse my randomly silly intro to this post and get excited with me! I have calf muscles that you can SEE. They’re actually a little more pronounced than this picture shows, and I couldnt be happier! I was taking a shower this past Saturday, getting ready to leave for a wedding. (I was wearing a dress, which meant I needed to shave, which I haven’t done in a while, because the hair on my legs grows really slowly, which is TMI, but I’m tellin’ it anyway, ’cause it’s my story). I looked down and thought “Whoa, what’s wrong with my leg, why is it swollen like that?” And then I realized !!!!! That’s not swelling! That’s muscle! Glorious, glorious muscle! And then I introduced my new calves to Izzy and the hubby. They were admired by both. And my legs looked great in my dress. *YES!*
So, thank you, thank you, thank you, EA Active! Weeks of having my butt kicked by your 30-day challenge workout have paid off! In the 2 weeks that I have consistenly used the program (while exercising horrible eating habits. What you know about a homemade dark chocolate cake with homemade cream cheese frosting?) I have lost 5.6lbs, 1 inch from my waist, can sustain a run at a consistent pace for 10 minutes, break for a minute, then run some more, and I have visible calf muscles. I call it money well spent!
