Recently, I received the oppurtunity to try out two new products from Covergirl. Through my affiliation as a Bzz Agent I received a Smoky Shadow Blast in Silver Sky (805), and a Shineblast Lipgloss in Ablaze (850).
The creamy shadow comes in a stick with two sides, a step 1 and a step two.
Which for Silver Sky was a mauve and a silver.
The idea is to use the rounded side (step one) as a base, and then use the pointed side(step 2) as a liner for you upper lash line, and along your crease. On me, the two colors that I received didnt really look much different from each other, but I chalk it up to my skin tone, because the colors are very different in the tube.
The one that I received is most appropriate for a night look, which I don’t have use for very often! Also, Im not a big fan of cream shadows, because I have oily skin, and they tend to smudge. But, with that said, when I used it to take these pictures, it stayed on all day!
I might be trying this in a different color, since I saw a yummy looking combo called Citrus Flair on the website (not sure why I didnt choose that one to try in the first place.)
As for the lip gloss, Im not really sold on the fact that they’re calling it ShineBlast, because the “glossy” factor is actually pretty tame to me, BUT I absolutely love it, for exactly that reason! It’s perfect for “no makeup” days, when you just want to do liner and gloss, because it’s not over the top shiny. It smells delicious too.

Love the idea of the shadow, althought a lot of them do the same weird colour thing to me too. I'll have to give that gloss a try though. Looks great! And you changed your blog again! It looks fantastic!
