So, what you do is, buy some frog legs at the store. Batter them. Fry them up. And enjoy. But not really, because that’s totally not even what this post is about. 🙂
There are a couple of quotes, by Mark Twain, that inspired this post. You’ve probably heard them before, from motivational speakers, or maybe your parents, or maybe you’ve said them yourself! They are:
- “If you eat a frog first thing in the morning, nothing worse will happen to you that day.”
- “If you have to eat a frog, don’t look at it for too long.”
The frog, of course, is not an actual frog, but represents something that you probably really (really, really) don’t want to do. We all have that one thing (or several things) that we absolutely hate doing. For me, my frog is laundry. I hate laundry with a PASSION (there’s actually a site for laundry haters. But since we all have laundry to do, you can enter my giveaway here to win a bottle of All Free Clear detergent.). I hate seperating loads, I hate measuring detergent with the little cup, I hate using all the hot water, I hate making sure non of Izzy’s hot pink things end up with the whites, I hate remembering to put clothes in the dryer, I hate…well…you get the picture. So since I HATE laundry sooo much…it’s one of the first things I get started on in the morning. I
eat my frog start on the laundry early, so that I can get it done, and over with, and move on to less hated more enjoyable things.
What is(are) your frog(s)?
