I don’t know what to do. Izzy refuses to sleep through the night. For a few days, it seemed like she was settling back into her normal habits, but no bueno. She is going to bed a 8pm, waking up at 11pm, waking up at 1am, waking up at 3am, waking up at 5am, waking up at 7am. Getting her to go to sleep is not an issue. At naps, and at bedtime, she goes down just fine. Goes right to sleep most of the time, unless she spends a little time climbing around in the crib. It’s the constant waking at night that is driving me nuts, because nothing seems to work.
Rocking doesn’t work, it hasn’t since the early weeks. I know she’s not hungry, because she’s getting more than 30oz of milk every day, plus solids. I’ve tried Tylenol, Motrin, and 2 brands of teething tablets for any teething pain that may be keeping her up. Still, no results. I can’t figure out what the issue is. She doesn’t want to be held, but she doesn’t want to be down on the floor either. She doesn’t want to nurse, or co sleep.
I don’t know what to do to help her. As badly as I need the sleep, I know that Izzy needs it too. 4 hours of napping during the day is all well and good, but if she’s not getting any sleep at night, it makes no difference, right?
*sigh* I can only hope her bottom teeth go ahead and poke through soon. I think they are causing the bulk of the problem.
