184.6. That’s what the scale said this morning. That’s 2.6lbs. (Scale needed recalibration, my ACTUAL starting weight was 187. What a punch to the gut, huh?) In ONE week of not eating like I would never see food again, I lost 2.6 lbs. Just…wow. I only made it to the track or treadmill 2 times this week, which fits in with the challenge, but not my personal goal of going every other day. I just got busy, and allowed some other things to take priority over my health. Not this week though!
I told you guys last week that I was going to be doing a 5k (in 12 days), so it is pretty much of VITAL importance that put in time at the track, building up stamina, and maybe even a little speed, so that I don’t pass out in downtown Little Rock, lol. I’ve only been to the track once since I signed up, and I finished 3.1 miles in about 43 minutes. I was very pleasantly surprised by this, since I did so completely at a power walk, pushing Izzy in her stroller, so I’m sure I could probably do at least a little better stroller free. I can’t sustain a run for a full 3 miles (yet), so I know not to expect a huge difference, at least not this soon!
Anyway, enough about me, how did you ladies do this week? Let’s discuss! (And link up!)
