Well, it’s been long enough! If I have any hopes of reaching my goal weight of 165 by the time Summer rolls around, I have to get up and do something. I was doing well until I amputated part of my fingertip being stupid, and I haven’t really been able to work out since then. But i can’t let the finger be an excuse that keeps me away from my goal. I can’t do my Jillian Michaels or Just Dance workout right now, but you know what I CAN do? I can run. So starting tomorrow (weather permitting, that is) I will be packing up Izzy and taking my butt back to the track. The treadmill isn’t doing anything for me. It’s boring, and Izzy starts wailing about sitting still in the stroller for so long, so that’s a no-go. At least at the track, I can push her, so she doesn’t get quite so bored. It does mean that I’ll have to forgoe the painkillers, since they kinda frown upon driving under the influence, but luckily the pain isn’t as severe as it was at first. I can handle it, especially since I’ll be active.
