In none-spider related news, I picked up a couple of hair products today while I was at Target.
I’ve used (and love) the Curl Creme Brulee (orange bottle) before, so this was a repurchase. I smells postively yummy, and makes Izzy’s hair nice and soft! My hair is kinda too short to tell if it’s soft or not, lol. The Lavish Curls spray (pink bottle) is a new purchase, and I did a little test on one of Izzy’s puffs when I got it home. It made her hair nice and shiny, and made her cute little coils pop!

Both are marked as “formulated with certified organic ingredients” and ” no sulfates, silicones, parabens, mineral or petrolatum oils” For the ingredients,on the hair lotion,(the first 5) it’s “water, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, glycerin, helianthus annuus seed oil (sunflower seed oil), and glycine soya oil (soybean oil)”
On the spray,(the first 5 are) it’s “water, glycerin, polysorbate 80 (when i looked it up, this is something used as an emulsifier in some foods),methylheptyl isostearate, silk amino acids”
What do you use on your hair to keep it moisturized and healthy?

I’ll have to try this on Chase’s hair. I’m so terrible with maintaining his hair.
For mine I like ORS Olive Oil (used sparingly) and seal the ends with any random oil I put my hands on, from EVOO in the kitchen to vaseline.

Oooo, can’t wait to try both!
Hmmm are these all natural? What are the first 5 ingredients? Piglet has such dry hair.

I use Curl Junkie HIbiscus and Banana Honey Butta…and Oyin’s Frank Juice. After many years natural, I feel like I finally got the perfect combo down! I used CURLS for a few years too, and really liked it.
This is new to me. I’ve never seen it before. I’m gonna try it on jas’s hair. I’ve been using pink oil for quite some time on her and it work really well. I do however need something that detangles. Her hair tangles really easily. I think I’m gonna try this on her( and me) lol thanks for the heads up.
I use hello hydration on my and leave it in. I also use a conditioner by lusters pink oil on mine and leave that in sometimes. I wear it curly/wavy often. And every couple of months I I straighten it to trim my ends.

I’ll have to try this on Chunk’s hair, when it’s wet out of the tub his curls are perfect and shiny but once it dries it gets so dry no matter what I put on them. See, I can’t stay out of Target…

Ok, I picked up the Creme Brulee and have already tried it. It’s great! Much better than Miss Jessie’s Baby Buttercreme.
Instead of the spray, I got the Blissful Lenghts Kukinut Oil Elixir. I’ll use this on my hair too
Thanks again for point out this line of products!
I have never heard of these products before. I have bought so many products to try to tame my daughters curls. She doesn’t have nappy hair, but its really curly so when its dry it looks like an afro. Few products can moisturize her hair for a long period of time..her hair just sucks it up! I’m actually writing a post this week @ our hair care journey. Thanks for sharing!

J/A/S/O/N Organic Aloe Vera Shampoo

I don’t use any of it for me( I’m locking my hair). But for Pookah, I use another Target one, the Shea Moisture Coconut And Hibiscus Curl and Style Conditioning Milk on his hair. Makes those pretty curls nice and glossy. Not to mention it smells good. I also use Jane Carter’s moisturizer on his hair for a little shine.

I use both of these products in my daughter’s hair. What I love most about them is that they last a long time, because you don’t have to use much to get great results. My daughter does not have a lot of hair, but this worked wonders on her pony tails. BTW: You can some time find coupon for these products on Target website around Black History Month. I did last year. I also contact the manufacture and they sent me a coupon once. Give it a try.
coconut oil and natural island works for me

I totally love curls but what’s difficult about it? It’s when you get shower and the curls get tangled and sometimes it goes beyond your control. There may have shampoo’s available for it but what I want is to keep my curls for long since they’re just artificially made.
