So…Izzy is a master at ignoring instruction. I know that understanding the instructions aren’t the problem. Izzy just doesn’t do anything she doesn’t want to do.
Which brings it around to this story. Izzy was carrying around one of her toddler spoons. She was having a blast, feeding me, feeding Byron, etc. Then, she started sticking it down her throat, gagging herself. So I told her to bring it to me, and gestured the same. She took off running in the other direction. O_o
She was halfway to the couch when Byron said “hey!”. Not loudly enough to qualify as a yell, but attention getting enough that Izzy literally jumped, turned around, and came and brought me that spoon.
What is it about a little bass in the voice that automatically makes kids “get right”? Are they born with it? That tickled me so badly that I had to put my hand over my mouth to stifle my laugh, so Izzy wouldn’t think it was a joke! Is this a common phenomenon?
