So, today was my second day of classes. I’m enjoying myself, I think. I’m glad to be making this move, taking the steps to better myself, but on the other side of that, I’m… tired. Already. That’s bad, right? It’s not so much tired as it is overwhelmed, thinking about the amount of work I have to do. My classes this semester are pretty basic classes, mostly gen-ed, classes you would think we’re pretty light. No. I must have gotten all the professors that are out prove that belief wrong, because I have WORK. Every day. A lot of it. And don’t even get me started on the half-run I have to do to get to class on time. Would it be inappropriate to push slow people out of the way?
This (going back to school) has (obviously) been a major change in my life. My family’s too. But, it really seems like I’M the only one having a hard time getting into a good groove.
I discovered this weekend that I’ve been wearing the wrong shoe size, probably for a while. Before any babies, I was already wearing a size 11 shoe, which is honestly hard to find in most cute shoes. But lately, my feet had been hurting, and for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out why. I was getting ready to go and see a podiatrist. Then, while in the shoe store for my husband, I randomly put my foot in the sizer, and lo and behold, I need a size 12 shoe. It hadn’t even occurred to me that my feet had grown. So. I don’t have any shoes now, other than some black flats that I bought after hearing that news, and new Nikes that I bought today so that I would be able to workout. Awesome, right?
I found cuuuuute new things for the kids at JCP. $3 onesies and shorts? Yes, please.
Then Izzy’s little items for $6
And this cute outfit I saw at Walmart for $8
These ate the last summer-ish items I’ll be buying for them, because fall is fast approaching. I only got these because I like to dress kids in layers, skirts, tights, tees, cardigans, so most of these items will just migrate into the fall rotation. I’m excited.
I’m still loving using my tablet. I did end up trading up to one with a better camera, the Hisense Sero 7 pro, for a very nice $129, and it is an EXCELLENT tablet. If you’re in the market, I would definitely recommend it.
So I just now got back to this after a vomiting incident, then bath time, where Zoe decided to stick her face in the water, and promptly FREAKED OUT. So……. I’m going to go work on this math, then go to bed. What have you been up to?
