Just a quick video of my progress so far!

I Can See the Light

I woke up this morning to 184.2.  I haven’t been down this low since….well…since I can remember.  That put’s me at an exactly 8lb loss, and I am looking the 170′s right in the face.  I can’t wait! Although I’ve struggled a little with cravings, I think that my penchant for being creative with food, and loving to cook has helped me majorly.  The food hasn’t been boring for me, so it helps me to not feel deprived.  I’m going to try a buffalo chicken type thing for lunch today. I’m excited, lol!

Checking In

So, today is day 10, and I’m down 7.2lbs.  That’s with a .2 gain this morning.  It was a little disheartening, but I’m on my cycle, so it’s pretty normal to have gains/stalls.  Doesn’t make it less annoying though.

I’m having a really tough time, mentally, this week.  The week of my period is normally one of incessant cravings.  That is no different this time around.  Only it’s worse.  Because I cant do anything about the cravings!  Whereas before, I would eat ice cream, or bake a cake, now I can…eat an apple.  That’s annoying.  But I’m pushing through!

Ugggh

Coming on my cycle is making this hard.  My cravings and appetite always go through the roof at this time, so being on such a strict diet… mind over matter, mind over matter, mind over matter.

Actual Day 8

185.8 baby!  I am so thrilled!  I called yesterday day 8, but looking at my spreadsheet, it was actually day 7.  So, with this mornings weigh-in, I am down 6.4lbs. Not bad, but most people lose quite a bit more, so I’m a little annoyed about that.  Overall though, I’m happy.  This much, this quickly, I shouldn’t be complaining.  I still have about 2 weeks to go, so I have plenty of time to lose more.  Plus, after this, I will be picking back up with my exercise, plus a strength training program!
