Sample Sunday – In Perpetuity

anteup2A short one today. Mine. Unedited. Subject to change. Enjoy 🙂

Twenty minutes later, I pulled up to the front of the Drake Casino Resort, and gave the valet the keys. Normally, I would spend ten or fifteen minutes on an adventure in the parking lot, looking for a space, but the spa voucher in my purse said that my parking would be validated. I wasn’t passing up any perks today.

Inside the resort, I headed straight for the spa desk, which was just a few steps over from the hotel check in. As I approached, the woman at the counter looked up, absorbing my cheap sandals, cut off shorts, tee shirt and ponytail with a thinly veiled sneer.

“Can I help you?” she asked, clasping her hands in front of her as she spoke.

“Yeah. I saw a video online of this guy giving a woman a massage, but it wasn’t like… a regular massage. I think there was like… slow jams in the background while he was rubbing on her thighs, and her feet, and all of that… and he definitely touched her pussy. I think it was called a “vassage”. Do you guys offer those? Cause that’s what I need. Really bad.”

When I finished speaking, the woman’s mouth was open in surprise, but she clamped her lips closed and cleared her throat. She glanced around her, then angled her head toward me, and motioned for me to lean in.

“So… we don’t offer those here. But there’s a place called Waterfalls, about two blocks away from here, and…mmmhmmm.”

I grinned, for what had to be the first time in the last two days. “Seriously? I’ve been there before for a show, but I didn’t know they were doing… that.”

The woman nodded. “It’s a new service. You’ve gotta talk to the owner, Lady Z, yourself. Tell her Kiely sent you.”

“I sure as hell will,” I said, filing the information away in my head. “Good looking out. I was honestly joking when I mentioned it, cause you were giving me that crazy look when I walked up.”

Kiely cut her eyes toward the ceiling. “Oh girl, I didn’t mean anything by that.” She leaned in a little more. “We have to turn up the bougie when we’re at the desk. Adds to the ambiance or something. What services are you looking for today?”

“Whatever I can afford with this,” I said, digging the envelope with the spa voucher from my purse. I handed it to her, and she turned to her computer, keying in the number printed on the side. I chewed at my bottom lip as I waited for a response. When Kiely’s eyes went wide at something on her screen, it felt almost like deja-vu. “What is it?”

She looked up, and I could tell she was scrutinizing me again, for different reasons than at first. She shook her head. “Oh, uh, nothing. Not really. It’s just… uh…”

“It’s not valid or something?” I asked, as my face heated with embarrassment. Had I pissed him off so much that my privileges had been revoked?

“No, not at all,” she said, holding up her hands. “Quite the opposite, actually. It’s an ongoing pass… covering anything you want, in perpetuity.”

My eyes went wide. “I… what?”

I’m so excited for this one. I just don’t know what to think of it so far, it’s so mysterious between both the hero and heroine and I have to know more. Who are these people and what is their story. I can’t wait until the full novel’s available. You have me on my toes, Christina! 🙂
